Rapper Edavārdi has announced a concert tour to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the release of his album “Breakout". This will be a special concert series, focusing on the artist's older musical material, that has been created between 2007 and 2015.
The album "Breakout" was released on April 5, 2010 and is considered by the listeners to be one of the strongest works in Edavārdi repertoir and on the local rap scene. The tour is not only a celebration of the 10th anniversary, but also a look back at the work that has been done in the previous decade before the release of the album.
"Many have praised Breakout as one of my best albums, and I have a feeling that this work has been living its own life for a long time. I don't like to deliberately try to conjure the magic of the past in my work, but I believe that is worth doing on stage. Although I am not passionate about nostalgia, the decade should not be celebrated and since I have released several albums and singles before and after 2010, this could be a great opportunity to look back at it for myself and my listeners, "says Edavārdi about the upcoming tour.
The “Breakout” concert tour will end on May 14 in Andrejosta, a Riga Port City territory.
