Riga Port City has attracted an investment of 3 billion € for the real estate project Riga Waterfront in the center of Latvia's capital. In January 2024, Riga Port City started a strategic partnership with the international real estate investment and development company Eagle Hills, including their financial investment and management for development of the 57-hectare waterfront residential, lifestyle and business district.

Riga Ropax Terminal – a modern, environmentally friendly sea terminal that will serve Riga's passengers in one of the city's three transport hubs and provide high-quality, modern public, commercial and entertainment facilities. The goal of the project is to improve the southern part of the Riga Export Harbor by creating a modern sea transport passenger infrastructure and a wide range of additional functions for Riga's guests, residents, and businessmen.

Riga Passenger Port offers comfortable and safe berths for cruise and other types of ships, as well as ferries and yachts (except cargo). Around one million guests use RPO services every year. RPO manages and develops the Riga passenger port and the territory adjacent to it. The services provided by RPO meet the requirements of the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code. In the future, RPO services will be offered in the new Riga Ropax Terminal.
